Institute of Child Health (ICH), Kolkata, is a premier paediatric institution in West Bengal with a distinguished history spanning over four decades. Established as a postgraduate teaching centre in 1978, ICH has since served as the cornerstone of advanced paediatric medical education, clinical training, and specialised child healthcare in eastern India. The Institute is duly recognised and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC), Government of India, and was previously accredited by the Medical Council of India (MCI) prior to its statutory reconstitution. ICH is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) and is authorised to confer the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Paediatrics, reflecting its standing as an institution of academic and clinical excellence. It consists total 16 Post Graduate seats.
